Some City of Midland employees were soaking wet Wednesday for a good cause.
Starting Wednesday morning, people took turns in a dunking booth as part of a fundraiser to help local charities. Then, their employees got a chance to dunk them.
"We have some department managers and division managers sitting in our booth," city official Carolyn Schoolcraft told Big 2. "It's $5 for three throws. "
All the money that was raised is going to the United Way of Midland. When city officials had a similar fundraiser in 2008, they raised $600.
