For the first time in decades, the fair is back in Midland County.
The Midland County Fair kicked off Thursday at the Midland County Horseshoe. The fair offers plenty of food, rides, and other activities.
Midland County last had a fair about 40 years ago, but organizers said it was time to bring it back to the Tall City this year. Plans are also in place for the Permian Basin Fair and Exposition, which is celebrating it's 35th year.
