Midland Police are searching for a man who ran away during a traffic stop Friday.
Police were making a routine traffic stop at Louisiana and Powell in Midland Friday when a man jumped out of the vehicle they pulled over and took off.
The police sent a K-9 unit to track the man, but he is still on the loose. Police have not identified the man, but they say he's African-American. The man is about 5'7", and he weighs 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing brown shorts and a white t-shirt.
