A bad accident in Winkler County kills one person. Aldo Urquidi died after being involved in a wreck that happened on State Highway 302 just west of Kermit, early Sunday evening.

According to DSP, two pick-ups were traveling from Mentone to Odessa, with the first truck pulling the second. Somehow, the first truck lost control and the driver tried to over-correct. Both vehicles went off the road causing the second truck to roll. Urquidi was in the second truck that was being towed, but it's not known why he was in that vehicle wearing his seat belt.

The accident is still under investigation, but DPS told Big 2 alcohol was not a factor.
