Updated: August 25, 2010
Hobbs Police are looking for a man after an early morning shooting.
This shooting happened around 1 AM Wednesday on East Wolfcamp Drive.
Police say that Reynaldo Orona came to a house and started banging on the window. A woman who lived there opened the door to confront Orona, along with Sergio Garza.
All three started arguing. Then police say Orona used the gun to break the screen door and shoot Garza in the gut. He took off in a white pick-up. That truck was found by police, but he now might be in a blue 1977 Thunderbird with New Mexico plates, FAZ-22.
Garza was driven to Lea Regional Hospital for the gunshot wound, and he was later flown to a Lubbock hospital.
    Orona faces attempted murder charges.
Anyone with information on Orona’s whereabouts is asked to call Hobbs Police at 575-393-COPS (2677) or Crime Stoppers at 575-393-8005.
