Polygamist leader Warren Jeffs won't be extradited to Texas for at least a little longer.
A state judge has postponed an extradition hearing for Jeffs. That hearing was originally scheduled for tomorrow, but will now happen on September 7th. Defense attorneys for Jeffs asked for the delay, since they plan to fight the extradition.
Jeffs had his Utah conviction reversed earlier this year. Now, Texas wants to charge him with bigamy, aggravated sexual assault, and more for alleged incidents at the Yearning for Zion Ranch outside Eldorado.
