Attemped Murder Suspect Arrested

Police responded to a residence in the 400 block of East Alston in Hobbs after learning that 30 year old Reynaldo Orona was located there.  Officers took Orona into custody without incident.  

Orona was wanted for the shooting of 31 year old Sergio Garza in the early morning hours of August 25th at a residence in the 100 block of East Wolfcamp.

Orona was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Aggravated Burglary and Tampering with Evidence.  

Orona is being held on a $600,000.00 bond.
