The Midland County Sheriff's Office said goodbye to one of their own Thursday.
Funeral services were held for Corporal Freda Blythe Thursday afternoon at Saint Stevens Catholic Church in Midland. Law enforcement from all over the Basin came to pay their respects to Blythe, who served as a sheriff's deputy for 15 years before losing a hard-fought battle to breast cancer.      A graveside service was held at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Big Spring, where she was laid to rest.
