Comptroller Combs Comes To The Basin

Combs stopped by Midland College to recognize achievements in technical education and to praise the financial transparency efforts by local governments. She also awarded M.C. Funding from the JET Career and Technical Scholarship Fund, which provides money to students enrolled in one of their training programs.
"The legislataure approved a $25 million fund, which is in three categories called JET - Job of Education in Training, because they're so aware that career and technical training are critical to the state's economy," Combs told Big 2.
Midland College received close to $55,000 from the jet program for nusing scholarships.They also recieved almost $145,000 for diesel technology
