Firefighters from Midland, Greenwood and other parts of Midland County were called to a grass fire this morning east of the Tall City.
This blaze was on East County Road 190 in Midland County. Seven units were on the scene. They put out the fire, but not before it burned around 70 acres.
It appears that welding caused the blaze. Fortunately, no one was injured.
