Female Body Found in Hobbs

    Hobbs Police have released the identity of a dead body they found on Saturday..
    Police found the body of 31 year-old Carolina DeLeon in a field near North Thomas and Bender. She was last seen that morning, getting into a vehicle on Marland and East Broadway.
    The case is currently being investigated as a murder, and DeLeon's body has been sent to Albuquerque for an autopsy.
    Hobbs Police DeLeon had recently moved to Hobbs from Lubbock, and may have been working as a prostitute at the time of the murder.
