SWAT Teamed Called out in Midland

Midland Police were dealing with a situation of their own, early this morning.
At around 4am, MPD responded to a family violence call at a residence on North Garfield. There, they learned that Trey Loyd Bailey, allegedly chocked and assaulted a female.
According to reports, Bailey started to choke the female victim, but she managed to escape. Both Bailey and the victim left the residence only to return later and that's when Bailey assaulted her. The victim fled again and went to the hospital. At that time, Bailey showed police he had a gun and that's when the swat team was called out and they ended up filling the residence with tear gas.
Bailey surrendered and was arrested for assault of a family member.
