M.H.C.C. to Host Women's Business Roundtable

By: Dylan Brooks
Updated: September 13, 2010

More and more women are opening up their own businesses here in the Permian Basin.
That's why the Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosts a Woman-Owned Business Expo each September. It's in conjunction with the Hispanic Chamber's Business Women's Roundtable. A lot of these businesses are home-based, and so it's a great opportunity for these ladies to get their name out there.
"It's an opportunity for them to network with each other," the Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's Annabell Ramirez told Big 2. "Some of the issues that women have, they are here they are able to work them out together. They can share some ideas and it's a great opportunity to be able to showcase who they are. "
This was the chamber's fourth year hosting this event.
