An Odessa man has been arrested for capital murder, almost twenty years after the crime.
Leroy Alaniz, 52, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Odessa Monday. He's accused of beating Larry Willsey to death with a baseball bat in October 1991.
The beating came during a robbery at the Party House Lounge on West County Road. Odessa detectives were able to use DNA evidence to put out a warrant for Alaniz, before the Marshals brought him in.
