It poured Thursday night across the Permian Basin, and all that rain flooded some roads, causing serious accidents.
A vehicle lost control underneath the LaForce overpass on Business 20 near Midland International Airport. It slammed into the wall on the side of the underpass.
Another driver tried to help the driver of that disabled vehicle, but a third vehicle got waterlogged and slid into that person's vehicle.
The driver of the third vehicle was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Traffic was backed up for miles as crews cleaned up the mess.
