Deputy Tijerina Released from Hospital

ODESSA -- Ector County Sheriff's Deputy Ricky Tijerina was released from Medical Center Hospital about 3:00 p.m. today.

Tijerina along with Sgt. Steve McNeill were both shot during a near 22 hour standoff which ended up involving over 20 agencies and in excess of 150 officers.

Tijerina suffered from 3 gunshot wounds.   McNeill was shot one time.

Sgt. McNeill was released Sunday from Medical Center and is recovering at home
