Some Midland elementary school students got some books Thursday morning, and they were delivered in a unique way.
The Wells Fargo Stagecoach, drawn by horses, went from their downtown bank to Dezavala Elementary. Once there, every first grader at the campus got a new book, "Read To Your Bunny" bu Rosemary Wells.
"Our students are so very excited to have their books. They had an opportunity to read a book with the superintendent, as well as our representative," Dezavala principal Terri Matthews told Big 2.
The students have all signed pledges saying that they will take that book home and read with their families, as well as read at school.
