Monday was the last day for voters to get registered for the November elections.
That said, the League of Women Voters were encouraging people to get registered at the Midland County Annex.
"We are pleased to have the League of Women Voters come out and help, and as I said, we have had a huge turnout," Elections Office worker Cynthia Goyang told Big 2.
As of Friday, there were over 7,100 Midlanders registered to vote. Residents had until 5 PM Monday afternoon to make their way to the Elections office at the Midland County Annex to get registered. Now they'll have a chance to vote in the early elections from October 18-29th. Election Day is November 2nd.
