A Midland woman is behind bars Thursday, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Midland police say that Bertha Mae Miller got into an argument around 6:00 PM Wednesday at a house on North Adams St in Midland. The victim - who's name has not been released - threatened Miller with a golf club. That's when Miller took a hammer and hit the victim over the head.
The victim was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment. Miller was arrested and is being held at the Midland County Detention Center.
