A man was killed in a rollover accident in Midland this weekend.
Just before 5 A.M. Saturday, Midland County sheriff's deputies responded to a disturbance call that involved 20 year-old Eliseo Medrano and his girlfriend. But when the deputies got to the residence, Medrano was already gone.
Roughly an hour later Midland Police and Fire crews responded to an accident in the 4600 block of North Big Spring. A silver 2002 Chevrolet Trail Blazer had been traveling south, but at some point the vehicle left the roadway and rolled multiple times before coming to a stop.
Medrano was the driver of that vehicle, and he was killed in that accident. Reports say he was not wearing his seat belt, and was ejected from the vehicle .
An autopsy and toxicology report will now be done to see if alcohol played a factor in the crash.
