A former Midland firefighter who was charged earlier this year for defrauding homeowners has been extradited to the Tall City, after he was caught sleeping in a van in Washington state.
Jason Heath Morrison, 34, was indicted on a number of federal charges, including multiple counts of aggravated identity theft. The charges all stem from a scheme where Morrison and his business partner - Marcus Rosenberger - allegedly stole thousands of dollars in a fraudulent "house flipping" scheme.
Morrison and Rosenberger are both scheduled to stand in February.
