Three Odessans are expected to cop a guilty plea after being caught stealing copper wire from drilling rigs.
Charles Allen Thompson, Rikki Brianne Johnson, and Arthur Alan Amason allegedly sold close to 1,000 pounds of copper wire to the Odessa Time Machine Recycle Center that got them close to $2,500. Now they've been charged with destruction of an energy facility, and that could get them up to 20 years in prison.
Amason is in court Wednesday. The other two will be re-arraigned next week.
