Conaway Honors Odessa Museum

ODESSA -- Congressman Mike Conaway was at the Ellen Noel Museum in Odessa on Wednesday to present the museum with a special honor.
Conaway presented the museum with a framed, official copy of the Congressional Record. That record commemorated the museums 25th anniversary, and also their recent affiliation with the Smithsonian Museum. Conaway also thanked the museum for everything they do to enhance West Texas.
"Fine arts are an important part of the quality of life," Conaway told Big 2. "When people decide to locate a business to West Texas, the Ellen Noel, the Presidents Museum next door, are all part of the reason why they come here."
Conaway also said that those remarks will remain a permanent part of the House of Representatives archives for as long as the Republic exists.
