MIDLAND -- A man is behind bars after getting into a fight in Midland Tuesday night.
The fight broke out near Gulf Street and Midland Drive around 8 PM Tuesday. Midland Police officers arriving on scene found two men attacking 44 year-old Manuel Franco with beer bottles and a metal fence post. When police arrived, the two attackers fled in different directions.
Police were able to find and arrest one of the suspects - 34 year-old Manuel Robles - nearby. Robles was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, evading arrest and an outstanding warrant.
Police have identified another suspect, but they have not found him yet. Franco had to get staples at the emergency room for a head wound from that attack
