Chavez Arrested for August Murder

ODESSA -- An Odessa man is behind bars, charged with murder.
    Adrian John Chavez, 21, was arrested Wednesday in Odessa. Police say he killed Luis Roman, 23, on August 15th. Roman was driving down West University when shots were fired, and Roman was hit once in the right shoulder. He lost control of the truck and was thrown from the vehicle, killing him.
    Chavez is being held in the Ector County Detention Center on $250,000 bond.
