Seven Arrested in Midland Prostitution Sting

    Midland County sheriff's deputies have arrested seven people in a prostitution sting.
    Four accused prostitutes, two accused escorts and an an accused pimp were arrested Wednesday night in Midland.
    Deputies ran a sting operation on Sabrina's Escort Service, which was lifted in The Thrifty Nickel mailout. Deputies then arrested accused pimp Juan Alejandro Larronde, 37 and accused prostitute Chadonda Williams, 27, Briana Dobbs, 18, Veronica Esparza, 34, and Pamela Cisneros, 17.
    Deputies also found two accused self-employed escorts on backpage.com. Deputies ran a sting on them as well and arrested Jasmine Villar, 19, and Julie Perez, 18.
    "This is an event that occurs anytime - or an situation that occurs, a criminal event that occurs whenever a large event comes into the community," Midland County Sheriff Gary Painter. "And we're just doing what we can to help keep some of this criminal activity out of the county."
    Those arrested are facing six felony charges and two misdemeanors.
