MIDLAND -- More information is being released about a car crash that killed a Midland man.
Police say that Rashad Bell was seen driving a stolen Chevy Suburban days before it was used as a getaway vehicle for a robbery. As it was speeding away, the Suburban hit a street sweeper, killing Ronnie Lee Randolph.
Police also say the car was used to steal beer from a 7-Eleven in that vehicle earlier in the day, and a woman was driving at the time. Police also spoke to Sabrina Kalinoski, the other woman that was in the Suburban at the time of the crash. A third person was interviewed, but ultimately released.
Bell is facing first degree murder charges.
