ODESSA -- Two people are behind bars after police say they broke into a house in Odessa.
The incident happened around 11 A.M. Wednesday on Conley Avenue. Police say the crooks broke out a back window to get in. A 96 year-old woman was there at the time, and they tried to tie her up, but she fought them off. Eventually they ran off with what they could grab, leaving her with injuries to her arms.
Police then found one suspect hiding in a yard down the street, and another was caught trying to run. Xavier Ray Diaz has been charged with burglary and more. The second suspect was a 16 year-old juvenile, also charged with burglary.
