MIDLAND -- A Midland man is heading to prison after he was convicted of three different crimes.
Tyrice Dupree Lowery pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery, sexual assault, and evading arrest. All charges are felonies, and some of them happened as far back as 2007.
Police say Lowery had sex with an unconscious woman back in 2007, which led to the assault charge.  The robbery charge stemmed from a March incident when Lowery tried to rob a liquor store at gunpoint. He didn't get any money in that holdup.
Lowery was sentenced to five years in prison.
