Every Thursday in November, Big 2 will be featuring some of the most successful and most interesting oilmen of the Permian Basin. It all begins this Thursday night with Jim Henry. Mycah Glover had a chance to sit down with Mr. Henry for over an hour to learn about his life before he began working in the oil industry and what it's been like ever since.

He says although the Permian Basin has gone from producing 2 million barrels a day to 1 million over the past forty years, there's still a lot of good years left for our local industry. "40 years ago, the price of oil was three dollars a barrel, so the revenue from the 2 million barrels is 6 million dollars. Now it's 70 dollars a barrels and it's 1 million (barrels a day), so the revenue is 70 million dollars," says Henry.

While a lot of people just know henry as a successful oilman, there's a lot of interesting facts about his life that that might suprise you. You'll want to tune in to Mycah Glover's Big 2 Energy Report Thursday night at 10pm for an inside look at his life story.
