PECOS -- A man accused of killing two people in Pecos has pleaded guilty to the killings.
Randall Lee Stevens pleaded guilty to capital murder charges on Thursday. He was then immediately sentenced to life behind bars without the possibility of parole. Police said Stevens faced the death penalty if the case had gone to trial.
In May 2008, Stephens stabbed Rick and A.J. Cherry at their Pecos bar. Stevens then stole their truck and fled the scene. He was later arrested in Mobile, AL.
