Woman Injured in Downtown Midland Accident

MIDLAND -- A woman was injured in an accident in downtown Midland Monday.
The crash happened at Illinois and Main around 3:00 Monday afternoon. Aracely Almuina, 41, was driving her Corvette north on Main when she attempted to turn onto Illinois and hit a Pontiac Grand Prix driven by 20 year-old Socrates Davis.
Two more people were riding in that Pontiac. One of them, 57 year-old Beverly Davis, was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Almuina got a citation for not yielding the right of way.
