Taste of the Basin Comes to Odessa

ODESSA -- Permian Basin residents treated themselves to some tasty food Tuesday night.
    The 27th annual Taste of the Permian Basin took place Tuesday night at the Ector County Coliseum. People got to enjoy food from a record number of different restaurants around the Basin. From delicious cupcakes to sushi, there was a wide variety to choose from.
    "They're filling up behind me getting to sample all types of entrees and desserts," Odessa Commerce Chairman Doug Chisum told Big 2. "If you missed it this year their will be a 28 next year so make sure you plan ahead and get tickets and try to make it out."
    400 general admission tickets were sold, making it one of the largest attended years for this delicious event.
