The I-20 Wildlife Preserve and Jenna Welch Nature Study Center is in the thick of its $2.75-million Capital Campaign to expand walking trails and improve the park. Monday morning representatives make a big fundraising announcement on Good Morning West Texas.
The Preserve has successfully reached the $1-million dollar mark, achieving its matching grant. The organization will now get another $1-million from Texas Parks and Wildlife.
But the Preserve says it still has a long way to go. Its still needs to raise another $750,000.
