Local March of Dimes Division Director Tracy Renton discusses the 8th annual Prematurity Awareness Day.
Prematurity is the leading cause of newborn death - accounting for nearly a quarter of deaths in the first month of life.
More than half a million babies are born prematurely (less than 37
weeks gestation) Every year in the United States.
