MIDLAND -- A Midland man has pleaded guilty to having more than 800 pounds of marijuana.
Jorge Morales was busted at a checkpoint along U.S. 67 near Marfa. Troopers noticed that his truck was far too clean, so they began searching it. That's when they found close to 850 pounds of marijuana in an extra gas tank.
Morales is facing 5 to 40 years in federal prison.
