MIDLAND -- A rollover accident sent two people to the hospital this weekend.
This all happened Sunday on Interstate 20 between the Midkiff and Loop 250 exits. Machelle Reeves was headed westbound in the left lane of Interstate 20 when, according to reports, a silver SUV suddenly changed lanes in front of Reeves. She moved into the right lane to avoid a collision, but the silver SUV changed lanes again, causing Reeves to lose control of her vehicle. Her Lincoln slid sideways into the median, and then rolled over.
According to witnesses, the SUV then fled the scene. Midland Police later found and interviewed that driver.
Reeves was traveling with her husband, and both were taken to Medical Center Hospital. She's currently listed in critical condition, and her husband is in stable condition.
