One Killed, Four Injured in Andrews County Crash

ANDREWS COUNTY -- A crash in Andrews County killed one man and injured four others Wednesday night.
    The collision happened just after 9:30 PM Wednesday at the intersection of F.M. 2371 and F.M. 181 about 12 miles west of Andrews. A Mercury was heading westbound on F.M. 2371 when it didn't yield the right of way and crashed into a Ford pickup that was heading southbound on F.M.181.
    Five people were riding in the Mercury. One of those passengers - 28 year-old Fernando Landeras - was killed at the scene. Another passenger - John Anderson - was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa with critical injuries. Two more passengers in the Mercury and the driver of the pickup were taken to Brownfield Medical Center with minor injuries.
    The driver of the Mercury was not injured.
