ODESSA -- The man accused of shooting two Ector County Sheriff's deputies has been indicted on numerous charges.
Victor White has been indicted on four counts of attempted capital murder, including counts for shooting deputy Steve McNeill and Richard Tijerina along with Lubbock police officer Don Billingsley. White also is charged with attempted capital murder for shooting at Lucas Bedrick and Billy Stevens, and attempted murder and aggravated assault against Lucas Bedrick.
Police say White attacked the men when they went to speak to him in September. That reported attack launched a day-long standoff, where police forces surrounded White's home in West Odessa. After a lengthy exchange of gunfire, and the eruption of a fire, White surrendered to police and was arrested.
