ODESSA -- The Salvation Army is one of the many organizations that are in desperate need of items this Christmas.

That's why The Odessa American created the Empty Stocking Fund more than 15 years ago. The fund gives the community a chance to donate food, money and toys for families that otherwise may not get anything during the holidays.

If you'd like to donate, you can drop off your items at The Odessa American or at the Salvation Army in Odessa. All donations must be received by December 17th.
