Is "Fracking" Safe?

Interior Secretary Ken Salazar recently commented on the need to regulate the process known as hydrolic fracturing. The announcement follows a lot of concerns coming from people, mainly in urban areas, living around new drill sites. They're worried it's contaminating their water supply.
