MIDLAND -- On Monday, Midland County Constable Choc Harris is set to officially announce his resignation to the Midland County commissioners.

In July, Harris was charged with tampering with government records. He was accused of falsifying information on paperwork for two deputy constables.

Earlier this week, the Precinct 2 constable announced he would resign next month. Now the Midland County Commissioners will have to fill that position.
