MIDLAND -- There are a lot of great things going on at the Scharbauer Sports Complex, and now it won't be the city working to get people to go to them.

On Tuesday, the Midland City Council agreed to enter into a one-year, $68,000 deal with the Midland Rockhounds. The Rockhounds will be in charge of professional marketing, promotion, and management of the complex. The city is hoping the team will be able to bring in more revenue and events to the center.
