ODESSA -- The steelwork is now complete on Medical Center Hospital's new Center for Women and Infants.

Everyone came together to celebrate the new center Tuesday. It was also a chance for employees, board members and volunteers to sign the final beam that went up to complete the frame of the new center. The facility is an addition that the hospital is very proud of.

"The new facility is going to consist of thirty post-pardem beds, twelve new delivery rooms, twenty newborn nursery beds, three state-of-the-art C-section suites, and we're going to have thirty all-private neo-natal I.C.U. beds," Medical Center Hospital's Tony Ruiz told Big 2.

The new facility is expected to be complete in about one year.
