PENWELL -- Firefighters in Ward County were dealing with a grass fire along Interstate 20 near Penwell Tuesday.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but it was more than likely a cigarette butt or a car sparked that sparked the flames. Once the grass caught fire, the wind helped it to spread. Fire crews from around the area rushed to scene and were able to get it out fairly quickly.

The fire burned a few acres of land.
