Four Sentenced To Probation For Odessa Break-In

ODESSA-- Three Odessa men and a woman have been sentenced to probation for breaking into a home.

    Brian Chavez, Jacob Chavez, Stan Wilkins and Rosemary Soto each got different forms of probation for the October 2009 incident. Police say the four broke into the house of Jaime and Tammie Castillo and confronted them.

    The four pleaded guilty to charges of burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault. Wilkins, who is an E.C.I.S.D. teacher, got 2 years probation and a $1,000 fine. Brian Chavez got 5 years of community supervision and a $10,000 fine. Soto and Jacob Chavez each got a 10 year suspended prison sentence with a $1,500 fine.
