TXDOT Wants Drivers To Be Safe During Holidays

The agency urges drivers to keep an eye on the weather and avoid driving if things get too severe. Drivers should be sure to take alternative routes if they come across a wildfire, since the dense smoke poses a visibility threat.
TXDOT also advises drivers to be patient and avoid aggressive drivers. Most importantly, the agency urges drivers not to drive if they've been drinking.
