Medical Center Hospital Gets Award For Diabetes Education

ODESSA -- A Permian Basin hospital is getting recognition from the American Diabetes Association.

    The association awarded Medical Center Hospital's Diabetes Education Program the American Diabetes Association's Education Recognition Certificate. The certificate is awarded to diabetes eduction programs to make sure that those programs meet national standards.

    The American Diabetes Association believes that high quality diabetes education is important for treating the disease, and the association considers Medical Center Hospital's program to be high quality.
