MIDLAND -- Drivers on the north side of Midland might have noticed a new sign Wednesday. And that sign was sure to slow them down.

A new four-way stop sign went up at Midkiff and Bluebird on Wednesday. Traffic in the area has gotten much busier recently, with more houses and apartments going up in the area. There was also a bad fatal accident at the Midkiff-Bluebird intersection in 2009.

The Midland City Council approved that new stop sign and another four-way stop that will be going up at A Street and Mockingbird.
