Odessa Murder Suspect Arrested In Bell County

A U.S. Marshals and Texas Rangers task force found Christopher Antonio Redic at an apartment in Temple Wednesday night.
The task force had originally searched for Redic in Monahans on Wednesday, but they discovered that he had headed to Bell County with his girlfriend on Tuesday. Law enforcement in that area were able to find Redic's apartment and they arrested him without incident. They also found a 9 mm handgun in the apartment.
Odessa Police say Redic shot 35 year-old Freddie Hall III early Tuesday morning at the Odessa Motor Inn. Police found hall's body in the parking lot around 3:30 AM Tuesday. Hall had been shot in the chest.
Witnesses said that Hall and another man were arguing.They also said they heard a gunshot.
Redic is facing first-degree murder charges. The U.S. Marshals haven't announced when Redic will be sent back to Ector County. No court date has been set.
